Her words and rhythm
Were now buried under questions
Questions which may not get voiced
For Voice was choked by pangs
Not allowing the heart
To move from its place
And she wondered if
She’d ever find her
sacred place again
The space where her soul
Felt safe
The thick black smoke
She had inhaled
was causing asphyxia
Yet it was difficult to breathe in
Trust, hope and faith
