Boundaries

People who are

the victim of deception

Are never the ones

Who deceive

For the simple reason

That they know

how it feels

Ironic it is

Even then

They are not believed

The accusations often

Embezzles the peace

May be that’s why

Wise men said

Unconditional love too

Should have boundaries

  1. Yes, everything needs boundaries. Even couples/love.

  5. I guess it depends. Some people like revenge and deceive when they have been deceived. But, yes, boundaries are necessary and everything comes with a condition. Excellent!

  6. This is such a puzzle – if it is unconditional how can there be boundaries? What a lot of food for thought you give, dear Sakshi with such a deep write!

    1. Ha haaa yeah it is …….but to simplify it … You can never really love someone else if you don’t love yourself and that’s why you need some boundaries …..so that you don’t do things that make you stop loving yourself…πŸ€”
Have I really simplified it or it is all the more complicated now πŸ˜€

      1. No, i understand. i was thinking like a mother and child – where is the boundary and where is the love – we are so, so in love that even if it is the middle of the night we wake up and care only of the comfort of the baby — no self-love was needed – but maybe that only works because it is short term and soon the baby grows up. he!he! 😊

      2. Even that my dear ….when I was a new mum …. I used to hold my own breath everytEve my son would cough and then I realized …. I can sooth him in his tough times but his suffering is his and he has to deal with his own pain too ……I can never take away that ….it’s beyond my powers …. So there are boundaries there too

  8. Maybe tough love is part of unconditional love, therefor no boundary is needed… I believe helping and enable lines get blurred. Love does what is needed, not always what is wanted. The inability to say no is not a sign of love.
