Our childhood tales always had a positive note in the end. A lot of them also taught about the power of affirmations but either we missed reading those lessons or forgot them as time went by. We did not have Rhonda Byrne’s ‘The Secret” back then (which is my favorite ) decoding the law of attraction……it was these simple innocent tales giving us lessons of life.

There was this tale of a notorious boy who would go to his farm everyday and scream Lion …lion and the villagers would rush for his rescue only to find nothing around and he would laugh it off saying he was just checking if someone would come forward to help. One day a Lion did attack but no one came thinking of it as another prank.

Now what has this got to do with affirmations right?

There are negative affirmations too ….all this while he was nurturing this thought of Lion’s attack and no one coming to help ….Alas! It happened. Although this story is fictional but the message is loud and clear.

Similarly, they say if you want to destroy a tree …you don’t have to use an Axe…. Curse it everyday…..stand beside it and say it’s good for nothing and it’ll wither on it’s own in a few days ……… that’s the power of words.

Nurturing negativity will invite negative situations in your life ………Nurture positivity and it’ll make you a happier person.

My truth is not important, it’s what you believe in becomes your truth…….. coz What you truly believe often comes true.
